Amentum in Groton, CT seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Utilities, HVAC & Controls to lead a team of technicians in supporting a pharmaceutical facility. You will oversee HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and BMS operations, ensuring reliability and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, outage planning, root-cause analysis, and coordination with Quality and Validation. Candidates should have strong supervisory experience and hands-on knowledge of Maximo CMMS and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six+ years of hands-on HVAC, central chilled-water plants, and mechanical utilities.
• At least three years in a supervisory, lead, or chief-operator capacity.
• Experience with enterprise BMS/BAS platforms, including alarm management, trending, and sequence-of-operations.
• Must be a United States citizen or permanent resident; no sponsorship.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, hospital, semiconductor, data-center, or other mission-critical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct a workforce of technicians and professionals in HVAC/utility maintenance.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance in the site CMMS (Maximo).
• Lead outage planning, surge staffing, and shift coverage.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, OSHA, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality and Validation for filter integrity and system reliability.
• Manage spare-parts strategy for long-lead components and critical spares.
