Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Utilities Maintenance Technician to support a premier pharmaceutical research facility in Groton, CT. You will ensure reliable operation of the central power plant and utility systems, including boilers, turbines, chillers, pumps, and related equipment.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, predictive maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with engineering and operations to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; technical training preferred.
• Hands-on experience in central utility plants or pharma utilities.
• Experience with CMMS and reading mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex utility plant equipment.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance per CMMS schedules.
• Support safety, QA, and regulatory compliance in all tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations, and vendors to implement improvements.
