Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Sr. Technical Sales Training Specialist for the Biosciences Division.

Based in North America, this site-based role will deliver in-person onboarding, develop training across products and workflows, and collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales to align programs with go-to-market strategies. You will translate complex scientific concepts into practical learning experiences, work with regional partners, and travel up to 15% to support on-site

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field required.
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in life sciences highly preferred.
5+ years of life sciences experience, with at least 2 years in technical training, sales training, or L&D.
Experience delivering technical training for commercial or sales audiences, including instructor-led and virtual learning.
Experience facilitating in-person training, onboarding, workshops, or hands-on learning.
Laboratory experience in life sciences with ability to communicate complex concepts.
Experience in field, commercial, or sales roles and understanding of sales skills and workflows.
Proficiency in instructional design and digital learning tools; ability to collaborate across global teams.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and deliver technical sales training across product and workflow topics using virtual, digital, and instructor-led formats.
Facilitate in-person new-hire onboarding with technical instruction, hands-on learning, assessments, and activities for commercial readiness.
Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales and SMEs to align training with go-to-market strategies and customer needs.
Create scalable learning content and tools for regional use with global localization support.
Evaluate learner knowledge and use feedback to continuously improve content and delivery.
Maintain accuracy and relevance of training materials for scientific and commercial needs.
Support commercial and sales meetings with technical training and learner engagement.
