Job summary

Rocket Lab USA is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager I - Machining to lead sourcing and procurement for major satellite subcomponents at our Long Beach, CA HQ. You will manage RFQs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance in a fast-growing space company.

You will collaborate across functional groups to ensure on-cost, on-time delivery, and compliance with program objectives, with a focus on risk mitigation and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management.
• Excellent negotiator with experience in written contractual vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price).
• Experience with procured hardware and services including SOW review and technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing and procurement strategy for major satellite subcomponents, RFQ/RFP issuance, and contract proposals.
• Develop sourcing strategies to meet program requirements with on-cost, on-quality, and on-time delivery.
• Guide supplier selection and performance based on requirements and capabilities.
• Manage supplier relationships, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews.
