Job summary

Rocket Lab’s Global Supply Chain team is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager I - PCBA to lead sourcing and supplier partnerships at our Long Beach, CA headquarters. You’ll drive end-to-end procurement, from prototyping to production, ensuring cost, quality, and on-time delivery across rocket programs.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, a bachelor’s degree (9+ years total experience), and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supplier management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience (9+ years of total work experience).
• U.S. citizenship is required, due to program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with program goals for cost, quality, and delivery.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships from RFIs to contracts.
• Lead supplier negotiations on first principles to secure terms on cost, quality, and delivery.
• Drive supplier performance improvement via metrics, scorecards, and reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet program requirements from prototyping to production.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure resilience.
• Engage with Legal/Contracts to establish contractual framework and commodity strategy.
• Identify cost savings and run cost models/advice for competitiveness targets.
• Conduct market research to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of trends.
• Act as procurement expert in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
