Job summary

Rocket Lab’s Global Supply Chain team leads the sourcing and procurement activities to support Electron and Neutron programs. Based onsite at the Long Beach headquarters, you will shape supplier strategy, manage key partnerships, and drive cost quality and delivery performance across the program lifecycle.

In this role, you will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams, negotiate favorable terms, mitigate risks, and identify cost savings while maintaining strict compliance

Qualifications

• 8+ years in procurement, sourcing or supplier management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12+ years total experience.
• Experience in aerospace or disruptive manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with program goals.
• Build supplier relationships from RFIs to contract execution.
• Lead negotiations on cost, quality, delivery performance.
• Drive supplier performance through metrics and reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing.
• Identify risks and ensure supply chain resilience.
• Engage with legal/contracts to establish contract frameworks.
• Identify cost savings and maintain should-cost analyses.
• Conduct market research and inform strategic decisions.
• Serve as procurement expert in a fast-paced environment.
