Job summary

Rocket Lab, based onsite at our Long Beach, CA headquarters, is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager I - Machining to own sourcing strategy and procurement for major satellite subcomponents, issue RFQs/RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier execution in support of fast-paced programs.

You will develop sourcing plans, guide supplier selection, and collaborate with engineering and program teams to meet on-cost, on-quality, and on-time delivery goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management or commodity management.
• Experience negotiating contractual vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price).
• Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including SOW and technical spec reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing and procurement for major satellite subcomponents, including RFQs/RFPs and contract proposals.
• Develop sourcing strategies that meet program requirements while mitigating supply risks and ensuring on-cost, on-quality, and on-time delivery.
• Guide supplier selection and performance based on requirements, specifications, and capabilities; manage supplier relationships.
