Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior Global Supply Manager I - PCBA to drive sourcing strategies and supplier partnerships across programs for cost, quality, and delivery. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure resilient, high-quality supply for Electron and Neutron programs.

You will lead negotiations, manage supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities in a fast-paced, high-growth aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing or supplier management.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience (9+ years total).
• U.S. citizenship is required due to program requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with program goals for cost, quality, and delivery.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships from RFIs to contract execution.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure best terms on cost, quality and delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier performance with metrics and reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality to meet program requirements.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure resilience.
• Engage with legal/contracts to establish contractual framework and commodity strategy.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and maintain should-cost analyses.
• Conduct market research to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Act as procurement expert to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
