Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist for a on-site role in Midland, MI. You will balance supply and demand across multiple sites, optimize inventory, and lead cross-functional planning activities to ensure product availability and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or military equivalents, 2+ years of experience, and US work authorization. APICS and SAP/OMP experience are preferred, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience at U.S. E6 or Canadian PO2 level required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for the role.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Generate a time-phased supply schedule to meet short-term business needs within plant constraints.
• Determine and apply effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implement external manufacturing agreements or execute existing ones.
• Own and operate site or regional planning models with IT efficiency in mind.
• Act as local site coordinator for internal demand, utilities, or environmental ops.
• Routinely check inventory levels and ensure alignment with the plan.
• Identify and address supply issues (capacity, shortages, emergencies).
• Lead collaboration with service, manufacturing, logistics, and partners during unplanned events.
• Maintain production parameters and master data governance for planning.
• Support global supply chain initiatives through cross-functional interfaces.
