Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Scheduling Specialist based in Midland, MI to balance demand and supply across multiple sites. You will generate time-phased schedules, optimize inventory, and coordinate with manufacturing, logistics and customer service.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree or military experience, 2+ years in supply chain planning, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military equivalent (U.S. E6 or Canadian PO2 or higher).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Generates a time-phased supply schedule to fulfill business requirements in the short-term, considering plant constraints and inventory targets.
• Determines and/or executes the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
• Implements external manufacturing agreements or executes agreements already in place.
• Owns and operates site or regional planning models (ensures efficient use of information tech).
• Serves as a local site coordinator/planner for integration of internal demand, utilities or environmental operations.
• Routinely checks inventory and ensures volumes meet the plan.
• Addresses supply issues (capacity constraints, shortages, unplanned orders).
• Leads collaboration with customer service, manufacturing, logistics and partners to meet obligations during unplanned events.
• Maintains production parameters and master data governance for planning.
• Supports global supply chain initiatives with cross-functional teams.
