Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Specialist to manage shipments from the Americas to global customers, optimize container use, and sustain timely delivery with compliant documentation.

You will monitor KPIs, analyze root causes, and lead continuous improvement across the supply chain while coordinating with internal and external partners to meet market demand. This role emphasizes proactive problem solving and cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• 3–4 years total experience in customer service, international supply chain operations, transportation management, project management, or planning.
• Strong organizational, follow-up and analytical skills with urgency to produce results.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and market requirements; strong PM skills.
• Ability to work in a global environment with external supply chain customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage shipments from Americas manufacturing and distribution to Abbott affiliates and direct customers worldwide.
• Allocate product to maximize container utilization and minimize costs.
• Ensure prompt, accurate shipment communications and relevant documentation.
• Monitor KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain MAS to meet market demand and safety stock targets.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
