Mars Incorporated seeks a Senior Manager for the Global Scientific & Regulatory Affairs Center of Excellence. You will steward the SRA Issues Management Program, translate trends into business foresight, and collaborate with global leaders to mitigate risk and unlock opportunities.

Leveraging data analytics and predictive modeling, you will craft visuals and dashboards to support executive decisions, while building consensus across regional SRA teams and business units.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years in scientific/regulatory compliance in food-related fields.
  • Experience with global regulatory programs, risk assessment, and mitigation.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration and independent work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead governance of the Global SRA Issues Management Program, aligning with enterprise risk systems.
  • Monitor and analyze 3-5 year horizon for long-term regulatory shifts.
  • Create pre-regulatory insights capturing emerging trends and government risk endpoints.
  • Translate complex technical assessments into clear business strategy and options.
  • Design methodologies to assess financial, reputational and operational impacts.
  • Build data-driven prioritization models and analytics for global issues.
  • Synthesize inputs into visual landscape maps and executive dashboards.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment with regional SRA leads and global business units.
  • Foster bidirectional workflows with regional teams to feed into the global framework.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a technical field (food chemistry, nutrition, food science, biology, chemistry, or toxicology)
Advanced degree preferred
