Job summary

Mars is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to support global risk programs across segments. The role focuses on identifying, quantifying and mitigating exposure to loss and business interruption in manufacturing, supply chain, warehousing and related environments.

The ideal candidate holds a 5+ year track record in risk management, with strong analytical skills and experience coordinating cross-functional teams across a global landscape. Domestic and international travel up to ~20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Risk Management & Insurance, Health and Safety, or similar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk engineering, loss prevention, or related fields.
• Experience with compliance, auditing, governance and reporting processes.
• Experience managing external vendors and service providers.
• Knowledge of property loss prevention, fire protection, business continuity and risk management practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage global risk activities and monitor program performance.
• Coordinate audits and reviews and track remediation.
• Manage third-party vendors and service providers.
• Develop and maintain standards, tools, and reporting for operational resilience.
• Support onboarding of acquisitions into Mars Risk programs.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders across Mars locations.
