Job summary

Mars Inc. is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to lead risk programs across Mars segments globally, including risk engineering, resilience, and loss prevention.

You will work with internal teams, external consultants, and risk partners to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement of risk management strategies. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in property loss prevention, risk engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience with governance, auditing and reporting processes.
• Experience managing external vendors and consultants.
• Knowledge of loss prevention, fire protection and business continuity.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage global risk activities and monitor program performance.
• Coordinate audits and remediation tracking.
• Oversee third-party service providers and vendor contracts.
• Analyze risk data and identify trends to improve programs.
• Develop and maintain standards, tools, and reporting for operational resilience.
• Support onboarding of acquisitions into Mars risk programs.
