Job summary

AMETEK IntelliPower seeks a Senior Shipping Clerk to manage domestic and international shipments. This hands-on role handles documentation, packing, and coordination with shippers to ensure on-time delivery.

The position requires forklift operation, ERP familiarity, and 5+ years in shipping within manufacturing, with at least 1 year international experience. San Diego base, overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 1 year of international shipping experience.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office Suites.
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and lift devices.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.
• Must have a valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Generate and manage all shipping documents e.g. labels, packing slips, bills of lading in ERP and third-party software.
• Prepare products for shipment following established packaging procedures.
• Prepare international and domestic shipping documents and schedule freight pickups.
• Utilize UPS and FedEx systems to ship outbound shipments.
• Coordinate export compliance issues and shipping tracking with shippers.
• Operate and maintain packing equipment to minimize damage.
• Retrieve products from Finished Goods per pack slip.
• Stay current on international export requirements and customs regulations.
• Maintain shipping supplies and conduct monthly Finished Goods inventory.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.
