Job summary

AMETEK is seeking a detail-oriented shipping/packaging coordinator to ensure accurate documentation and timely carrier pickups for finished goods. You will verify drawings, packaging instructions, and lot numbers, while maintaining current revisions and logs.

The role supports production and may involve off-shift deliveries using the company truck. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and experience in packing/shipping, with the ability to read blueprints and work with minimal

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous pack/ship experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

Handle pickups for outside carriers (UPS, FedEx, and trucks).
Schedule company truck for drop-offs, including off-shifts or weekends.
Prepare and distribute shipping documentation including shippers, certifications, labels, inserts, lot numbers, and logs.
Verify configuration documentation (set drawings, packaging instructions) is current.
Complete work cell documentation (travelers, inspection reports, scrap tickets, finished goods to inventory).
Comply with ISO policies and procedures.
Create advanced shipping notices for applicable clients.
Assist production and management as needed.
May train others after competency.
