Job summary

Deckers Brands is seeking a Sr. Manager, Global Retail Training & Communications to set the vision for learning across UGG and HOKA. You will lead globally consistent, locally relevant experiences, leveraging micro-learning and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in learning and development, instructional design, or retail training.
• Experience building enterprise learning strategies for frontline employees.
• Experience with micro-learning, mobile-first content, short-form video, and digital performance support.
• Experience with AI-enabled tools, rapid authoring, video editing, and LMS/LXP platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own global retail learning vision, multi-year roadmap, and operating model for UGG and HOKA.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into learning outcomes.
• Use feedback and data to identify capability gaps and prioritize solutions.
• Design learning across service, product, selling, operations, leadership, onboarding, and transformation initiatives.
• Create mobile-first journeys with micro-learning, video, scenario practice, and performance support.
• Develop standards and workflows for rapid content creation and lifecycle management.
• Measure effectiveness via participation, completion, knowledge, confidence, and business KPIs.
• Provide targeted support for executive retail communications.
