Swiss Re Corporate Solutions seeks an experienced international property underwriter in California to manage fronted global property programs, underwrite Nat Cat exposures, and structure competitive programs for large enterprise clients. Hybrid work in SF/LA with travel within the West region.

Requirements include 4–10 years of underwriting experience, strong broker/client networks, and the ability to lead projects and mentor others as part of a diverse team.

Qualifications

• 4–10 years of underwriting experience on medium to large corporate accounts.
• Experience structuring and fronting global programs.
• Knowledge of Nat Cat and man-made risk management.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio including fronted global property programs.
• Underwrite exposures including Natural Catastrophe hazards.
• Assess insurability for new submissions and renewals.
• Prepare quotations, structure programs and proposals.
• Lead projects and represent Swiss Re in client meetings.
• Coach less experienced underwriters when needed.
• Travel within the West region for client/broker meetings.
