Job summary

K&A Power Group in Westwood, MA, is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist to design, implement, and manage a global Project Controls and MIS framework across major capital projects. You will drive cost control, scheduling integrity, and resource optimization for complex transmission and distribution initiatives.

You will lead cost forecasting, baseline management, and data-driven decision support, partnering with Project Management, Engineering, and Finance to ensure accurate reporting,

Qualifications

• Requires 15+ years of progressive electric utility or related industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced data analysis, modeling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee installation of Project Controls, Program Management, and MIS.
• Develop and maintain cost, resource, and schedule baselines.
• Ensure baselines are monitored against actual performance and iron out variances.
• Lead and mentor teams in cost control, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate with PMO, Engineering, Procurement and Construction to align schedules and budgets.
• Prepare weekly project status meetings and dashboards with action items.
