Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or business administration or equivalent experience.
• PHR certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of HR practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of EEO, FLSA, and employment laws.
• General office procedures.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to build effective relationships with employees and management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and administer HR policies including salary administration and employee development.
• Counsel departments on staff training, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, and promotions.
• Communicate HR policies to employees and managers.
• Investigate employee issues by interviewing parties and reviewing documents with management.
• Listen to complaints and determine appropriate actions.
• Ensure locations comply with applicable laws.
• Prepare reports by collecting data and performing analyses for management.
• Conduct new employee orientation and ensure paperwork is processed correctly.
• Provide managers with HR guidance for performance and salary review processes.
• Perform other related duties as needed.
