Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Sales Director, Client Management to lead our Enterprise team and drive revenue across Financial Services (Crypto, PayFac, etc.) and Digital Media Merchants. You will coach and develop a high-performing sales organization, build strategic plans, and expand client relationships while guiding market strategies and reporting to senior leadership.

Travel may be required as part of client coverage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for the sales organization, including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development, and mentoring of team members.
  • Monitor staff performance, implement goals, document progress, approve incentive compensation, and partner with People Team on employee-related matters.
  • Drive activities involved in selling Global Payments products and services and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Direct resources in a cost-effective, innovative manner, assisting sales executives in effective use of tools and resources.
  • Participate in establishing financial goals, objectives, and measurements to achieve growth targets.
  • Develop and execute sales plans, goals, strategies, and objectives to achieve team and revenue objectives.
  • Identify critical market segments through market research and competitor analysis, recommending strategies for improvement.
  • Implement and execute sales policies and practices, oversee trade show participation, and contribute to planning of sales meetings.
  • Prepare sales production reports for senior management and participate in building, packaging, and price setting to meet market needs.
  • Monitor client survey results to ensure positive client relationships and satisfaction, responding to feedback as needed.
  • Ensure development and maintenance of long-term relationships with Global Payments' client base.
  • Encourage staff participation in product, service, and industry-related educational opportunities to strengthen skills and customer service.
  • Assist sales executives in attaining revenue goals, including development of tactical and strategic plans to create and close opportunities.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

What you’ll own

What you’ll bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing sales or client management teams in a complex, results-oriented environment.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience developing sales plans, managing performance measures and delivering against growth quotas.
  • Knowledge of payment solutions, technology, systems and industry practices, with the ability to translate client needs into practical solutions.
  • Expert communication, presentation and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence clients, partners and leaders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical judgment, problem-solving ability and organization, with the composure to manage competing priorities and sensitive employee or client issues.
  • Ability to build trusted, long-term relationships across clients, employees, senior leaders and external industry partners.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
