Job summary

Insitu, a Boeing company in Washington state, is seeking a senior payroll professional to manage multi-state and global payroll processes. You will validate timesheets, perform audits, and ensure compliance with tax laws while collaborating with auditors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, and mentoring junior payroll staff. Strong Excel and HRMS experience (Workday, ADP, Deltek CostPoint) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10–14 years’ multi-state payroll experience, or 8–12 years with a Master’s degree.
• Prefer candidates with government contractor experience.
• Experience with ADP payroll processing.
• Experience using HRMS such as Workday; familiarity with Deltek systems.
• Knowledge of US federal/state tax laws and withholding.
• Proven audit, reconciliation and issue-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares company payroll and validates timesheets for multistate and global payroll.
• Audits, reconciles, and resolves payroll processing issues; responds to inquiries.
• Maintains and documents journal entries in accounting and payroll systems.
• Supports annual tax filing and GL reconciliation.
• Leads and mentors junior Payroll Specialists.
