Job summary

LaunchDarkly is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Payroll to oversee the end-to-end payroll model across countries and entities. You will collaborate with Accounting, Finance, People, Legal, IT and external providers to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely payroll delivery.

The role requires a strategic, hands-on payroll leader capable of driving change, scalable processes and strong governance across regions, with emphasis on data quality and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive payroll experience, including global payroll
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, HR, business or related field, CPP preferred
• Experience managing US and international payroll across multiple countries and providers
• Strong knowledge of US payroll tax and year-end reporting
• Experience with payroll systems implementations and integrations

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end global payroll operating model and processes
• Lead US and international payroll operations across countries and pay frequencies
• Manage relationships with payroll providers and EOR partners
• Maintain payroll controls and audit-ready documentation
• Partner with People Operations and Finance for lifecycle events in payroll
• Collaborate with IT and Stock Administration on payroll system enhancements
• Define and monitor payroll operating metrics and forecasts
• Lead payroll audits and year-end processes
• Drive automation and AI-enabled improvements in payroll operations
• Mentor payroll team and external partners
