Job summary

Nova Sky Stories is seeking a hands-on Global Payroll Manager to scale payroll operations across the US and international markets. You’ll own end-to-end payroll, ensure accuracy and compliance, and partner with Finance, HR, and external providers.

You will also drive the setup of new entities, oversee parallel testing, and enhance processes and controls as the organization grows. A strong technical and collaborative mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in progressive payroll roles, multi‑state US payroll.
• International payroll experience across countries and currencies.
• Experience with payroll systems and HRIS integration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll taxes and internal controls.
• CPP or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle payroll operations across multiple countries and entities.
• Launch payroll in new locations and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with Finance, HR, and external providers for audits and reporting.
• Provide employee support and resolve payroll inquiries.
• Develop SOPs and standardize payroll processes globally.
