Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 8 years of experience in IT operations monitoring, systems analysis, or observability.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability platforms (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Capacity planning, performance analysis, and monitoring for large-scale environments.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities with stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and ongoing enhancement of the Department's enterprise monitoring across 350+ facilities.
• Design and maintain monitoring capabilities with executive dashboards for senior management.
• Monitor infrastructure availability across a 40,000+ user base and coordinate issue resolution.
• Collect and report performance metrics aligning with mission objectives and security posture.
• Develop a Capacity Management Plan to improve performance and address financial impacts.
• Mentor team members and supervise monitoring operations staff.
