Job summary

CACI International seeks an Enterprise Monitoring Observability Lead (SME) to guide the global IT monitoring program on the GMOS contract for the Department of State. You will lead a team, drive observability strategy, and deliver dashboards and metrics for executive decision-making.

This full-time role requires a Secret clearance, 13+ years in IT ops or observability, and hands-on Grafana and enterprise monitoring tool experience across large, multi-site environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree + 13+ years in IT ops monitoring, observability, or enterprise monitoring architecture.
• Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience with capacity planning, performance analysis, and enterprise monitoring for large IT ecosystems.
• Strong leadership with experience directing technical teams and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and management leadership for enterprise monitoring across the global CA IT infrastructure.
• Establish enterprise monitoring capability strategy with near real-time dashboards for executives.
• Direct infrastructure availability monitoring across 350+ facilities with rapid issue resolution.
• Define metrics collection, analysis, and reporting aligned with mission objectives and security posture.
• Direct Capacity Management Plan development and forecasting models for expansion and budgeting.
• Recommend enhancements to monitoring capabilities to address evolving tech and threats.
• Ensure integration of monitoring solutions with Ticket Management System.
• Deliver multi-level dashboards (program, operational, executive) with actionable insights.
• Lead analytics and ML strategy to predict resource needs and prevent service degradation.
