Job summary

Made In seeks a Senior Merchant to own the global assortment from our South Austin HQ. You’ll translate one line into channel-right assortments for DTC, wholesale, Amazon, and international markets, safeguarding premium positioning across channels.

You’ll lead lifecycle, pricing, margin, and sell-through management, partnering with Product and Design to balance commercial goals with product vision in a fast-moving premium brand.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in merchandising, buying, or category management for a multi-channel consumer brand.
• Experience owning a category's margin and sell-through.
• Multi-channel experience including DTC and wholesale; marketplace and international a plus.
• Strong retail math: markup, IMU, margin, AUR, sell-through, OTB.
• Collaborative product partner, able to defend commercial logic of every SKU.

Responsibilities

• Create and lead a product lifecycle calendar from design to launch strategy.
• Own end-to-end assortment across cookware, bakeware, tools, cutlery, tabletop, and accessories.
• Build line architecture with price tiers and SKU roles.
• Partner with Product and Design bringing commercial lens to product creation.
• Run SKU productivity with sell-through and margin data.
• Translate global line into channel-right assortments without cannibalizing brands.
• Decide marketplace vs DTC/wholesale SKUs; manage MAP and price integrity.
