Job summary

HMM America Shipping Agency, Inc. in Atlanta seeks a Senior Account Executive to drive outside sales for transportation services in the assigned territory. Develop existing accounts and build new ones across import/export lanes, while negotiating contracts and rates to hit KPIs.

The role requires a proactive, autonomous professional with 5–7 years of outside sales, preferably in ocean carriers or global logistics. Some travel is expected; a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, global logistics, maritime or related field.
• Requires 5–7 years of customer facing outside sales experience.
• Prefers 7–9+ years of sales experience with ocean carriers, global logistics, or international trade.

Responsibilities

• Weekly outside sales calls and regular customer interactions.
• Negotiate contracts and rates, and manage price and trade group communications.
• Maintain and update service contracts with inside sales.
• Review KPIs and revenue performance for assigned accounts.
• Attend weekly meetings and prepare preplans/post-plans.
