Job summary

HMM is seeking a Senior Account Executive in Atlanta, GA to grow our transportation services within the import/export trade lanes. You will develop customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue against KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, global logistics, maritime or related field.
• Requires 5–7 years of customer-facing outside sales experience.
• Prefers 7–9+ years of sales experience with ocean carriers, global logistics, or international trade.

Responsibilities

• Weekly outside sales calls.
• Regular customer interaction face-to-face or virtual.
• Verbal/written communications with internal colleagues and external customers.
• Rate/service contract management with pricing & trade group.
• Review weekly KPIs and performance to maximize revenue.
• Attend weekly meetings and prepare preplans and post-plans.
• Travel 10–20% as required.
