Job summary

The Senior Account Executive at HMM America Shipping Agency leads outside sales to grow the customer base for transportation services in the designated territory. You will develop new accounts, maintain relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure business for import/export trade lanes.

You will report market activity to the sales manager, meet weekly KPIs, and uphold a professional image representing HMM in line with our standards for customer trust and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, global logistics, maritime or related field.
• Requires at least 5–7 years of customer facing outside sales.
• Prefers 7–9+ years of sales experience with ocean carriers, global logistics, or international trade.

Responsibilities

• Weekly outside sales calls and customer interactions.
• Negotiate contracts and rates with customers and pricing groups.
• Review KPIs and performance with the sales manager.
• Support travel and client meetings within territory.
• Maintain accurate records and submit expenses.
