Werfen is seeking a Sr. Logistics Specialist to lead domestic and international logistics in the life sciences sector. You will ensure regulatory compliance across FDA, CBP, ITAR, EAR, and EU rules while optimizing global movement of regulated materials.

Attention to detail, strong collaboration, and experience with SAP/TMS are essential. This role may involve international travel and requires a proactive, scalable approach to processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in SCM, logistics, or international business.
• 5–7 years in pharma/biologics procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing in regulated settings.
• Strong knowledge of import/export rules (EAR, ITAR, FDA, CBP, EU regs).

Responsabilités

• Lead development of domestic/international trade compliance framework with SOPs and processes.
• Ensure end-to-end compliance with U.S. and international import/export regulations.
• Maintain a centralized product database with HTS/ECCN classifications and origin info.
• Coordinate global shipments including temperature-sensitive and hazardous materials.
• Manage relationships with brokers, forwarders, carriers, and 3PLs; track KPIs.
• Plan inbound/outbound freight and budget reporting; drive cost savings.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, QA, Legal, and R&D to align logistics.
