Job summary

Werfen is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain for Transfusion in the United States. This role leads end-to-end supply chain, including demand and production planning, procurement, warehousing, and logistics, with responsibility for S&OP, inventory optimization, and risk management.

The position requires a decade of experience in regulated environments, strong leadership, and expertise in ERP, SAP, and PowerBI. Travel up to 25% is expected as part of collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years in Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehousing in a regulated environment.
• Minimum of 5 years leading supply chain teams.
• ASCM certification preferred.
• Experience with GMP, FDA-regulated environments, and GDP.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain planning, demand, production, procurement, and inventory management.
• Drive S&OP processes, inventory optimization, and milestones aligned to strategic plans.
• Oversee purchasing, sourcing, supplier performance, and continuity of supply.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Lead and mentor procurement, planning, and warehousing leaders.
