Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years handling general liability claims.

• Experience handling litigation and defense counsel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and analyze information gathered.
• Make coverage determinations and communicate positions.
• Set reserves and monitor adjustments within authority.
• Present cases to management for reserve authority.
• Develop and implement resolution strategies for high quality outcomes.
• Proactively manage litigation and counsel, including budgeting.
• Attend trials and mediations as necessary.
• Contribute to claim goals through audits, projects and product development.
• Prepare reports and present case developments to senior leadership.
• Work with partners to evaluate claim trends and developments.
• Address inquiries from agents and policyholders with superior service.
