Job summary
Amazon is seeking a Sr. Innovation and Design Engineer in Worldwide Design Engineering to drive design for world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems.
You will own multiple projects from concept through design approval and act as the primary technical contact for suppliers. Based in Bellevue, WA, you will collaborate across teams, guide installation and commissioning, and contribute to high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment, helping to ensure successful deployment across
Qualifications
- 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent.
- Experience with design & innovation and research & development.
- Experience in management of engineering design projects.
- Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.
Responsibilities
- Own multiple projects simultaneously from concept realization through design approval.
- Serve as the supplier's primary technical contact for your projects.
- Hand off completed designs to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning.
- Support installation, commissioning, and launch to ensure the system performs as intended.
