Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Innovation and Design Engineer to design the next generation of world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems. You will own multiple projects from concept to design approval, collaborating with internal and external teams and guiding them to cost-effective solutions.

You will work on green-field, brown-field, and retrofit projects across North America and Europe, with a focus on automated material handling, robotics, and system optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or foreign equivalent.
• Experience in management of engineering design projects.
• Experience using MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Be the suppliers’ primary technical contact for projects and hand off to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning.
• Work on green-field, brown-field, and retrofit projects across North America and Europe.
