Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Innovation and Design Engineer to lead the design of world‑class fulfillment centers and logistics systems globally. You will own projects end‑to‑end from concept through design approval, acting as the primary technical contact for suppliers, and later supporting installation and commissioning with the Ops Engineering team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in design/innovation, R&D, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related areas.
• Experience in management of engineering design projects.
• Master's degree in Engineering or related field preferred; operations or business administration related fields also acceptable.
• Knowledge of system optimization, dynamics, reliability analysis, and decision making; familiarity with lean principles.

Responsibilities

• Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval.
• Be the suppliers’ primary technical contact for projects.
• Hand‑off the design to Ops Engineering for installation and commissioning; support during launch.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to design high quality, cost‑effective fulfillment solutions.
