Job summary

Amazon seeks an Innovation and Design Engineer to lead the development of world-class fulfillment centers and logistics systems. You will own multiple projects from concept through design approval and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.

You’ll work on highly automated material handling, packaging technologies and robotics, collaborating in a fast-paced environment across global facilities and projects in a day-to-day basis, with extensive exposure to lean design and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of design/innovation, research & development, manufacturing, or related experience.
• Experience in management of engineering design projects.

Responsibilities

• Design high quality, cost effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems.
• Own multiple projects from concept realization through design approval.
• Be the supplier's primary technical contact for projects.
• Support installation and commissioning with Ops Engineering to ensure successful launch.
