Job summary

Planet Labs PBC is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to own the full lifecycle of sales-side contracts and supplier subcontracts. This hybrid role based in Arlington, VA or San Francisco combines negotiation, drafting, and execution with cross-functional collaboration across legal, finance, and procurement.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in contracts, deep FAR/DFAR knowledge, and excellent communication. Domestic/international travel is required 1-2x/year.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proposals, contract, and subcontract management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of US and international procurement regulations (FAR, DFAR, NASA/NFS).
• Proficiency in contract management software and office suites.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end proposal management to contract execution and compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters.
• Track deliverables and subcontractor performance.
• Identify contractual risks and maintain contract records.
