Job summary

Blackhawk Network seeks a Principal Compensation Analyst to lead global compensation programs from design through governance in a hybrid setting in Pleasanton, CA. You will partner with HR, Finance, Legal and leadership to deliver competitive, equitable pay solutions.

The role covers base pay, annual salary planning, incentives, executive and sales compensation, market benchmarking, pay equity, and governance, driving data-driven decisions with HRIS and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 12+ years of compensation/financial analysis experience; global experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis capability.
• Knowledge of federal/state compensation laws; pay equity and transparency.
• Experience with AI tooling and data analytics in Total Rewards context.

Responsibilities

• Lead global annual salary planning, merit budgets, and system configuration.
• Conduct market analysis and maintain salary structures for equity and competitiveness.
• Oversee global compensation surveys, job matching, and benchmark validation.
• Lead job evaluation, market-pricing, and career level alignment.
• Design, administer and evaluate annual incentive and bonus programs.
