Job summary

Workday in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Senior Compensation professional on the Total Rewards team to serve as the first point of contact for compensation questions across the global workforce.

You will support Talent Acquisition, People Partners, and Compensation Partners on complex offers and retention, conduct annual and ad hoc benchmarking, develop job profiles, levels, and pay ranges, and participate in administering compensation processes and surveys.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 3 years in a business partnering or client-facing role.
• Proven experience developing and implementing salary structures and job evaluation methodologies for diverse employee populations.
• Demonstrated experience managing the administration of short-term incentive programs for a minimum of 3 years.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to build complex compensation models and present findings to management.
• Experience leading compensation-related projects, such as job leveling initiatives or pay equity analyses.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for compensation questions.
• Support stakeholders in Talent Acquisition and People/ Compensation Partners on offers and retention.
• Conduct annual and ad hoc benchmarking to develop job profiles, levels, and pay ranges.
• Develop cost models, forecast analysis and design recommendations on global compensation programs.
• Participate in administration of recurring compensation processes and survey participation.
