Job summary

Flagship Pioneering is seeking a highly strategic compensation leader to design, manage, and execute global broad-based programs across portfolio companies. This role sits in Total Rewards with exposure to executive compensation, equity programs, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in compensation, global experience, executive presence, and a track record of partnering with executives, HRBP, Finance, and Talent Acquisition to shape competitive, compliant

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in broad-based compensation, especially in high-growth or startup environments.
Experience supporting global workforces in matrixed environments.
Strong analytical skills with Excel, market pricing tools, and HRIS platforms.
Background in biotech, tech, or venture-backed companies preferred.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and refine broad-based compensation programs globally, including salary structures and bonus frameworks.
Lead annual compensation review cycles in collaboration with HRBPs, Finance, and Talent Acquisition.
Collaborate with recruiting to craft market-aligned offers while maintaining internal equity.
Conduct market benchmarking using tools like Radford and Pave.
Maintain pay transparency and pay equity frameworks across the organization.
Partner with executives on total rewards strategy including equity and benefits.
Prepare and deliver insights to senior leadership.
Maintain awareness of compensation regulations across key geographies.
Develop localization frameworks for regional competitiveness and compliance.
Advise on global mobility compensation matters.
Manage compensation tools, systems, and workflows; support M&A activities.
