You will prepare entries, perform reconciliations, and assist in audits while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Experience with government contracting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger account structures and conduct reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules to meet deadlines.
• Resolve reconciling items with internal stakeholders.
• Execute month-, quarter-, and year-end close activities within established timelines.
• Support audits by providing schedules and documentation.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports per policy.
• Manage vendor records and assist with training on policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with Contracts Management, Subcontracts Management, Purchasing, Finance and Compliance.
