Zoom’s General Ledger team is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the full accounting lifecycle for capitalized software, including Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements, partnering with Engineering, FP&A, IT and Finance to ensure accurate recording and reporting.

This remote-first, hybrid-friendly role emphasizes US GAAP, SOX controls, and automation, offering a high-impact path to influence financial operations and close processes within a fast-paced tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience including 2+ years in a public company.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge with close processes experience.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and advanced Excel.

Responsabilités

• Own the accounting lifecycle for IUS and CCA including capitalization tracking and journal entries.
• Post accruals, expense allocations, and adjusting entries with supporting docs.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts per US GAAP.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variances and partner with FP&A on key fluctuations.
• Support financial reporting packages and schedules.
• Ensure SOX compliance and perform control testing.
• Assist external/internal audits with PBC schedules.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT to implement AI-driven tools and ERP improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase automation.
