Zusammenfassung

Zoom’s Senior Accountant on the General Ledger team owns the full accounting lifecycle for capitalized software, including Internal Use Software and Cloud Computing Arrangements, while partnering with Engineering, FP&A, IT, and Finance to ensure accurate recording and reporting in a remote-first environment.

You’ll contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, support financial reporting and balance sheet integrity, and drive AI-assisted automation within the controllership function,

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP with accrual accounting and the full close cycle.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel.
• CPA license or active CPA candidacy; public company experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Support the accounting lifecycle for IUS and CCA, including capitalization tracking and journal entries.
• Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation and improved automation.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts in US GAAP.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analyses and explain P&L/balance sheet fluctuations.
• Assist with financial reporting packages and management-level summaries.
• Ensure SOX and ASC 350-40 compliance and participate in control testing and audits.
