Job summary

Jobgether partners with a high-growth technology company seeking a Senior GL Accountant based in the United States. You will own general ledger activities, manage journal entries, reconciliations, and close routines, and partner with FP&A, Payroll, and Legal to ensure accurate financial data in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

You will drive process improvements, leverage AI-enabled tools for data insights, ensure US GAAP compliance, support audits, and work with NetSuite ERP.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or similar role.
• CPA certification is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.
• Advanced Excel and ability to work with large datasets; AI-enabled tools a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules across GL accounts (cash, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, leases, intercompany).
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate reporting.
• Perform flux and variance analyses and provide data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Payroll, People Ops, Legal, and other teams for accurate data.
• Maintain internal controls and audit-ready documentation per US GAAP.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation in accounting workflows.
• Support external audits, system implementations, and special finance projects.
