BETA Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced GIS Project Manager to lead projects, build client relationships, and shape the GIS practice across New England. Collaboration with engineers, planners, environmental professionals, and senior leaders will drive data-driven solutions for communities.

The role emphasizes leadership of GIS teams, technical guidance, and ongoing client engagement, with a hybrid work schedule and potential remote days. ESOP culture and strong benefits support growth.

Qualifications

• 14+ years’ experience using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online for advanced geospatial analysis.
• 5+ years of project management experience leading GIS projects.
• Strong experience with ESRI technologies and GIS data management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS projects from kickoff through completion, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Serve as primary GIS project contact for municipal/state clients across New England.
• Direct design and implementation of Esri-based GIS solutions (ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, Dashboards).
• Provide technical leadership in databases, applications, and data management.
• Oversee collection, integration, processing, and QA/QC of geospatial data.
• Mentor GIS staff and collaborate across engineers, planners, and environmental teams.
• Support business development including proposals and client pursuits.
