Job summary

VHB is seeking a GIS Project Manager to join our growing New England team. You will have hybrid work options from MA, RI, or CT offices and support a broad portfolio across transportation, municipal, energy, and federal clients.

You will lead GIS projects, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality technical delivery using Esri’s ArcGIS suite and related tools, while contributing to business development and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience with GIS technology and at least 4 years in project management.
• BS in GIS, Geography, Planning, Survey Engineering, CS, or related field; Master's preferred.
• GISP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide project oversight on GIS projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
• Serve as Project Manager on GIS pursuits and ensure successful technical delivery.
• Support business development and client relationship development for GIS-related work.
• Lead development and mentorship of GIS staff with technical direction and support.
• Represent VHB at industry conferences and deliver technical presentations.
• Assist in configuring ArcGIS Online/Portal web apps and related Esri tools.
