Job summary

System One is seeking a Sr. GIS Programmer to support the Office of Information Technology’s GIS program in Towson, MD. The role involves hybrid work with onsite and remote duties and requires strong experience in ArcGIS technologies and related development skills.

The position emphasizes upgrading GIS models, enterprise GIS development, and database work, with a focus on SN SSRS and Power BI reporting. Background check is required for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
• Three years working with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDKs, ArcSDE.
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python.
• Strong SQL knowledge; experience with triggers and stored procedures.
• Experience in reporting with SSRS and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Perform application development and support activities for the GIS program.
• Assist in upgrading an Agricultural Preservation Model and ArcMap AddIn to ArcGIS Pro AddIn.
• Conduct GIS application development in an Enterprise GIS environment.
• Perform code review, documentation, planning, and development.
• Support database development.
