Job summary

System One is seeking a Sr. GIS Developer/Systems Analyst for a contract role in Towson, Maryland. The position offers a hybrid work model (onsite and remote) with 40 hours per week.

You will perform development and support for the GIS program, including ArcGIS Server applications and integration with CityWorks. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience with J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python, plus strong SQL skills and ArcGIS technology expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python scripting
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including triggers and stored procedures
• Experience analyzing program and production issues and developing reports with SSRS
• Relational database concepts with preference for Oracle or SQL Server
• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus five years' experience in systems analysis or project management
• Engagement with a government entity is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform application development and support activities for the Office of Information Technology’s GIS Program, including development and maintenance of ArcGIS Server applications
• Assist with GIS application upgrades and support of the ArcGIS Server environment
• Work with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder and interface with CityWorks
• Support configuration efforts in CityWorks and GIS web services used for CityWorks Repair
• Upgrade existing Facilities toolsets and utility toolsets written in Visual C# using Visual Studio 2010 with ArcObjects SDK 10.1
• Develop and modify applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python
• Maintain strong knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile

Requirements

• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, with preference for Oracle or SQL Server
• Excellent communication skills
• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, plus five years’ experience in systems analysis, change management, project management, or related fields
• Engagement with a government entity is preferred
