Job summary

System One is seeking a Sr. GIS Developer/Systems Analyst for a contract role in Towson, Maryland. The position offers a hybrid work model (onsite and remote) with 40 hours per week.

You will perform development and support for the GIS program, including ArcGIS Server applications and integration with CityWorks. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience with J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python, plus strong SQL skills and ArcGIS technology expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, and ArcGIS Mobile
• Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder and Python scripting
• Strong knowledge of SQL, including triggers and stored procedures
• Experience analyzing program and production issues and developing reports with SSRS
• Relational database concepts with preference for Oracle or SQL Server
• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus five years' experience in systems analysis or project management
• Engagement with a government entity is preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform application development and support activities for the GIS Program, including ArcGIS Server applications
• Assist with GIS application upgrades and support the ArcGIS Server environment
• Work with ArcGIS Web AppBuilder and interface with CityWorks
• Support configuration efforts in CityWorks and GIS web services used for CityWorks Repair
• Upgrade Facilities and utility toolsets written in Visual C# with ArcObjects SDK 10.1
• Develop and modify applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, and Python
• Maintain knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, Web AppBuilder, Collector, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Mobile
• Utilize ArcGIS Model Builder and Python for automation and analysis
• Analyze program and production problems and develop reports using SSRS
• Work with Oracle and SQL Server databases with SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures
